Music & Artist Development Experience (MADE) is a registered not-for-profit organization that creates opportunities for the personal, professional and artistic development of Canadian music creators.
MADE is committed to reflecting the diversity of Canadian artists and music creators in its programming and advocacy. We are firm in our belief that education and engagement are of the utmost importance to artists and music creators in the advancement of their career and in support of that belief, we are committed to creating and operating events that are in alignment with that fundamental necessity. We will also, in all of our operations and programming, encourage the values of diversity, accessibility and inclusiveness.
MADE, a federally registered not-for-profit, is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of music industry professionals, artists and business professionals from varying backgrounds and expertise. The Board adheres to corporate by-laws and policies and procedures that dictate the functions of the Board and the Corporation. Board members are nominated and elected by sitting members of the Board at the Annual General Meeting or when a vacancy exists. The Board meets at least three times a year and is responsible for the organization’s policies, programs, budgets and operational decisions.
