What We Do

Our Mandate

Established in 2017, Music & Artist Development Experience (MADE) is a registered not-for-profit organization that creates opportunities for the personal, professional and artistic development of Canadian music creators.

The organization is dedicated to creating, organizing and operating a variety of inclusive, accessible and results oriented events focused on providing aspiring talent with access to industry professionals and influencers who act as mentors and organizations including Canadian Music Week, SOCAN, Music Canada, FACTOR and others to enhance the hands-on, how-to approach that MADE believes is so incredibly valuable to an artist or music creator’s success.

MADE’s goal is to strengthen artist development in Canada by hosting networking events, mentoring opportunities, educational workshops, performance showcases and industry awareness.

In its online presence, primarily through its website, MADE strives to provide artists and music creators with a comprehensive list and guide to the support they can receive from associations, organizations and partners and festivals and events that can be key to an artist’s performance schedule.

Mission Statement

MADE is committed to reflecting the diversity of Canadian artists and music creators in its programming and advocacy. We are steadfast in our belief that education and engagement are of the utmost importance to artists and music creators in the advancement of their career and in support of that belief, we are committed to creating and operating events that are in alignment with that fundamental necessity. We will also, in all of our operations and programming, encourage the values of diversity, accessibility and inclusiveness.
